Story

Currently based in Melbourne, Jules is a painter, photographer and creator inspired by the light, colours and textures of built and natural environments. Taking photos of the “in-between moments”, Jules has a relaxed approach and waits for the right light, movement and perspective to then create with a variety of mediums. Rather than obstructing the landscape, Jules’ pieces compliment their surrounds, transcribing through colour and form, the “accent” of the locality.

Mediums

Jules’ paintings incorporate a combination of acrylic, pencil, tea and botanicals on 100% linen canvas. Framed canvases use sustainable timbers sourced from regrowth forests.
